i) synthesis and characterization of derivatives of polyaminocarboxylic ligands to be used for the preparation of Gd(III) or Mn(II) based MRI probes; ii) synthesis of multimeric systems based on multiple Gd(III) complexes; iii) conjugation of the imaging reporters for Molecular Imaging applications to proteins, and lipidic or inorganic nanoparticles.
