Research interests:
My research interests are focused on understanding of different dynamic processes occurring at the molecular level in complex materials that are important for application in a field of energy sources, energy storage, electronics, as well as food industry. In particular, I conduct molecular dynamics studies in various ion-conducting systems (including ionic liquids, crystalline protonic conductors, or hybrid solid electrolytes composed of polymeric matrices and ionic fillers), liquid crystals, and even in oil seeds or vegetable oils. Using different complementary experimental methods, including NMR relaxometry, I correlate the molecular parameters describing the molecular dynamics of the systems under investigation with their physical properties, e.g. ion conductivity, that can be useful in the search for and design of new applicable materials.
