European Network on NMR Relaxometry

The group of A Coruña is interested in the design, synthesis and physico-chemical characterisation of metal-based contrast agents for application in medical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). These contrast agents include Gd(III) and Mn(II) T1 agents with improved physicochemical properties in terms of thermodynamic and kinetic stability and proton relaxivities. The group is also developping 19F probes containing either paramagnetic lanthanide(III) or transition metal ions.
